Do private destinations leave our network?
The self-hosted preview stores its directory on your chosen company volume. This demo uploads nothing. Checking or downloading a software release does not require sending the directory to zo.gy.
Will /alias work from every page?
A bare /alias is relative to the current website. Use a configured company hostname, a browser keyword or a managed extension for consistent navigation. Intranet DNS doesn't rewrite paths on unrelated websites.
What happens outside the intranet?
The current preview requires access to its company service. A managed extension cache is planned; it will resolve only authorized synced aliases and will not bypass VPN or destination permissions.
Can our admins update from the console?
The preview console provides backup export and release guidance. Signed automatic installation is still in development. For now, updates use the documented stop, back up, replace and health-check procedure.
How are audit records protected?
Changes have a signed integrity chain and the persisted directory is authenticated using your audit key. This detects tampering without that key. Administrators controlling the key remain trusted; externally anchored audit exports are planned.
